Truth be told, I was waaay too young to ever be into Magnum P.I. and I never got into the reruns either.

Well that was a really great finale and a great season. It wasn’t perfect and it did hand wave a number of “unrealistic” scenarios but that was also very much the fabric of many 80s genre movies this show so expertly emulates.
*sigh* you’re probably, unfortunately, correct.
Welcome to the AV CLUB since you must be new here.
As much as I was ready to completely hate on yet another unnecessary streaming service that no one needs or asked for, this essentially just replaces my HBO NOW subscription with a beefier version. It also just shifts programming I was getting elsewhere to this service, while adding new programming too.
Are you dick-rubbing-against-the-clit/brown/taint shaming him?
oh, you sweet summer child. in a world with an entire internet you still manage to be shocked and disgusted by something as tame as Kevin Smith writing about sex like a teenager.
HE’S TALKING ABOUT SEX!!!
Low-hanging fruit, but still not nearly as childish and offensive as the average tweet coming from the bankrupt conman sitting in the White House.
Agreed. It’s like complaining that Mad Men is sexist because of the way all the men treat women. Duh - that’s the POINT.
So we no longer get coverage for shows like The Magicians or the Fleabag reviews just stop mid final season, but we will get coverage for reality trash like Love Island?
New show tagline....
As soon as the Mind Flayer bit El I was worried for her and what a great reveal with the pool of blood in the grocery store. I’ll say it again, the effects this year have been outstanding for the most part.
I screamed “one in the head!”. Hopper had him at point blank range too. At least we got El making a strike to the Russkies with the car.
Bat-shit insanity brought on by sleep deprivation, and a will to force an agenda into everything regardless if it applies.
There is no question that he would be given U.S. citizenship. That was a weird observation. Maybe some of this season doesn’t make sense if you don’t remember the Cold War.
It’s either bad criticism or when you decide to make a reviewer watch and drop 8 reviews and episodes in 48 hours. It’s not good for Emily, consumers, or anyone.
This entire review felt like criticisms that could apply to almost any production/work of fiction.
I could be wrong but I didn’t think that Alexei would have any problem making a deal and getting US citizenship. A Russian defector from one of their secret programs would always be an asset during the Cold War, even apart from his scientific expertise.
