Game of Thrones is still such a fresh wound, that I’m reluctant to say that the decision to rush the story the last two seasons, and give us a shadow of itself for an ending, is eventually going to be one of my biggest disappointments. AV Club: Kinja was pretty disappointing.

I thought as a defacto pilot it was pretty good, since those are usually left to do the heavy lifting of setting things up, without much of a payoff.

B is certainly a good grade, but given the outstanding reviews I’ve seen by other critics, it almost seems low. I’m pretty excited by the cast, and of course the two leads in particular. Tennant and Sheen are absolute gems.
