I’d buy that for a dollar!
As my all too thin social life will attest to, video games wins these battles of rival activities, more than they should. I sympathize with Carpenter completely.
You know people, Twitter is actually pretty neat and informative, if you don’t follow randos, sociopaths and trolls...
This is what people (and Russian bots) waste their time on???
Thank you for making this point!
Just my humble opinion, but the problem with the new trilogy started from the beginning. It’s probably not salvageable at this point. Especially since JJ made flawed decisions in Force Awakens. Had Rian Johnson been given the reigns from the beginning for the entire trilogy, or Kennedy had exhibited good judgement and…
Don’t preemptively hate on the backlash that’s like wishing it into existence. Wait till it probably occurs and then do it. It looks like they thought this out though diversity wise to minimize that reaction.
Well in this new world of monopolies—when it comes to film studios and most other media—I welcome the streaming services, networks, cable, and premium channels, going toe to toe in a caged death match.
To clarify, I know Vince just directed this episode, and the writing and showrunning are done by others. I was speaking historically in the other two instances, and I should have made that more clear.

Something tells me that Lalo may never leave the chicken farm.
One of my favorite moments is Gus’ immediate change of facial expressions from cheerful smile to hateful glare as soon as Lalo left his office.
Lalo is probably the most insincere character on the show. No gangster is that friendly.
I’m extremely curious to see what Werner’s letter said and what his actual intention is. I have to believe Mike would have taken all of their passports, so I doubt Werner left just to see his wife.
Yep; when I saw that I thought, “Okay, Gus is gonna get your ass...”
Great episode with yet another bunch of great performances. Vince Gilligan can direct, write, and showrun like few others.
OK, so Werner escaped, only to find himself in the middle of the goddamn desert. What did he do, call an Über?
Good point.
Can something be DOA before it’s arrived?
