If they put some time and effort into the B58 the car already has, they’d likely be pretty amazed by its capabilities as well...but fanboys gotta fanboy.

To be clear-James May is awesome!

You mean the guy that kept a “loaner” for three years is the same one who did this? I’m shocked!

But what does that have to do with whether or not it’s fun to drive?

What does it being a BMW have to do with the fun-factor?

Over 1g peak deceleration for a street car on normal tires isn’t bad.

Laguna Seca has the Corksscrew.

So, the pits are outside in the British weather, and the track is indoors?

Psssshaw. Not nearly as safe as the old one:

I loved watching this avoid pedestrians with braking almost as much I loved that video last week with the BMW X1 completely failing and just slamming through all the pedestrian dummies. I don’t have a sick sense of humor but I could not stop laughing at how funny that was.

my favorite part was @ 31 seconds when the 2 kids in the back high five each other.

It was actually impressive to watch that thing stop itself automatically so well.

Whilst reliability is still questionable you’d have to assume everyone who works at the dealership above is incompetent if they can’t perform the most basic pre-delivery checks if the cars leave broken which is a more important reflection on the garage than the car.

I really, really hate what these bastards are doing to our country. The damage to our international reputation alone will take decades to rebuild.

its darkly funny. republicans criticize obama for the “apology tour” when he wouldn’t have had to go mending fences if bush hadn’t run a bunch of unilateral military operations dragging our allies around, killing a bunch of them with friendly fire, and then insulting them when they say “you know, this ain’t working”

The next few presidents are going to have so much apologizing to do so the US can get back in good graces with the rest of the world. The fact that the US let Trump become president will be used against the US for years to come.

“The America I see cherishes a free press, democracy, the rule of law. It stands up to the aggression of dictators and against strongmen.”

Counterpoint: what they deserve is public humiliation on a global stage

Not allowing them entry at all would have been what they deserve.
