Cops would automatically pull the car here as many patrol cars are fitted with ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) if it didn’t have tax, mot or insurance although the mot doesn’t come due until the car reaches 3 years old.

In the UK you can check insurance, mot and tax publically through a free government run system called AskMid.
The B58 is an amazing engine and can take a lot of power apparently which is no surprise since the engines that came before it could produce big numbers too.
The were always surprisingly reliable, I owned both the TT and Golf some years ago. The TT (Quattro model) never went wrong (we had 3) and they all covered +120000 miles.
I partially agree.
The BMW B58 engine in the new Supra is worthy of being the heart of the new Supra, not only is it an amazing engine, it sounds utterly fantastic and is tuneable in a similar way to the cars original engine.
That BMW engine is amazing, peak torque at the bottom of the Rev rang and even the most mild remap can add 60+ bhp, it can also go over 650 with very few changes.
Does McLaren ever get tired at hitting home runs?
Ah the Cossie (at its known here in its birth place), I’ve always loved them and also the Sierra Cosworth.
Whilst reliability is still questionable you’d have to assume everyone who works at the dealership above is incompetent if they can’t perform the most basic pre-delivery checks if the cars leave broken which is a more important reflection on the garage than the car.
With respect, you view of brexit is one that misunderstands the nature of the issues the UK has with the EU. Yes immigration is one of the issues but it is not the only issue that many countrymen have with the EU (I voted remain for info). The UK joined a trade body in 1973 (after France veto’d our membership twice…
Another home run from McLaren watching and reading all of the reviews of this car, they have really changed the supercar game.
The reason for this is to remain under the management/maintenance of the Royal Navy. Slightly uninteresting fact is I live 5 miles from the amazing historic dockyard.
Over here in the UK the best case scenario would be for to get a 12 month road ban for driving under the influence of drugs but more likely trying to ram people with her car would get her jail time + a car ban when she leaves prison.
The M135i had it traction control off during that event (you see it in various clips and its obviously going sideways) and driving flat out at over 120mph through puddles isn’t the wisest idea.
I own one for day to day duties when I’m not riding my motorbike (my real passion) in auto form and think it’s brilliant.
My neighbor owns ones of these and has owned it from new and loves it (birds suspension). I own a M135i which is also a lovely day to day car.
To be fair the M140i was always designed as a fast cruiser whereas the Civic was designed for the track. I’ve driven both extensively and the M140i is a far better day to day car but the Civic is a sharper drive.
To be fair the M140 is the better car than the Golf. The 2.0 engine of the Golf isn’t in the same league as the brilliant 3.0 straight six of the 140 neither is the gearbox. It pains me to say it as a long term Golf owner/fan.
