This was a really long article that can basically be summed up as “Emily Yoffe was right, but because my views on the issue are extreme, I’m going to give a long winded explanation that does nothing to refute her point, but instead makes it”.

Rolling Stone has a famously brutal fact-checking process? I am skeptical. Outside of the New Yorker, I don't know that any magazine has a rigorous process. And with UVA, RS appeared to have done zero fact checking.
