i think the placard should read “we are raising a generation of children who are so emotionally fragile they cant handle being told no”

That person was also a psychopathic murderer, not your everyday boyfriend. I’m not trying to say that women aren’t more at risk, but I really hate that quote because it’s two completely unrelated things.

How dare you state the facts in this case that do not push the feminist agenda!

So your telling me your average american woman fears death more than your average soilder overseas? Your missing the point. And besides that, those numbers are lower than any other wars casualty rates. 3% of the worlds population was killed during the world wars, your grandparents had something to fear even if they

Right - the point is Women have never and will never kill anyone. Only men do that. Or was the point that a score keeping, cheerleading, tribal gender-war approach to horrible crimes is one best suited to the tragedy of the situation?

You may think this is explicitly a “only men kill women” but, it happens from the other side of the camp too.

Simply, humans are dangerous to each other. It’s just a risk that exists.

Not to mention there are plenty of cases of men being murdered by women.

So using your logic all new boyfriends should be afraid that men will kill them too.

Not to butt in here, but as a casual observer, it’s funny too see the jezebel crowd use statistics to show that men are the “problem”, or whatever. Yet, bring up minority crime statistics to attempt to prove a point and.....well you probably know the rest.

I only date strong, independent feminists - the type of women that would laugh at your comments, due to the fact they seem like bad satire.

According to this paper: http://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/pd… women make up 70% of victims of spousal homicide and men make up 30%. However it is not clear the gender of the perpetrators of these crimes...a good deal may be male spouses in homosexual relationships as it is not specified.

Im sorry, but your math is the one that is shitty. I cant believe I am getting involved in this...

That and the fact you are a lifelong lesbian, of course.

So far I’ve been told that many of those male victims are probably involved in illegal activity and therefore it’s not a big deal they were killed, and others have said it’s a bigger deal to be killed in a domestic incident than any other kind of murder.

I assume this is based on some subset of murders such as domestic homicides. It can’t apply to homicide at large because men make up the vast majority of murder victims.

By leaps and bounds actually. Men make up roughly 75% of murder victims.

Congratulations on that bold life choice, but nobody asked about your vagina.

How in the world do you “vet” somebody you don’t really know to determine whether they will end up as a potential murderer years down the road?

As someone who helped his dad bar a door when he was a child to protect us from an insane ex-girlfriend, this comment rings a little hollow.

I’d have no issue with a woman digging into my past, for example. None. Zero.
