Honest question- If something like Calexit or Civil War happened how bad would it be for America? And how much would it benefit Putin?

Has there been ever a show that squandered so much potential after it's pilot than the Walking Dead?
Like there are a lot of great shows that go astray in their later seasons but Walking Dead might be first which went astray just after it's pilot and never corrected itself.

So could this be the first true great great Superhero show?
I mean after Batman Animated Series of course. That show is unbeatable.

Even though I have stopped watching Homeland about 4 years ago it still provided a huge gut punch to me when an ad ran for it right after Colbert's Election Special and the President elected was a woman.

I think my #2 is Mad Men. Even though this year it had "New Business" which was below average(for Mad Men standards) the final stretch of 4 episodes was fucking amazing and was probably one of my favorite stretches of a TV show ever.
