@cc: I upgraded mine when 4.0 came out and it was definitely slower. I was planning on getting a 4 already, but would have tried to go back to the old OS if I was keeping the 3G. Hopefully 4.1 will help.

anyone else have an issue where the iphone map application stops showing traffic? It worked on my 3g, but not on my 4. "show traffic" is turned on, but no traffic is shown....
