Agreed. He is not Nobuo Uematsu, and that’s a good thing. I think Soken is exactly what the Final Fantasy franchise needs now. I will always love when Nobuo comes in to compose a theme here or there to shoot an arrow straight into my heart, but Soken is just a driving fire of inspiration and energy now. I love it! 

Yup. I played for 5 hours straight and when I was done, everything felt fine. But when I moved down stairs, it felt strange to actually be lifting my legs up and down. Yes please answer this Nathan! I’ve played games where dodging is important, and smooth sliding solves a lot of the frustration I had with teleportation.
