This is where “wet bulb temperature” becomes very important. I remember reading this year that during a recent heatwave, wet bulb temperature... somewhere... was over 95 degrees F which basically means that evaporation cannot cool your body below that temperature. This is considered fatal.

this calls for a classic!

If you’re shopping for a Volvo that you plan to keep for a while, find a CPO model from a dealership. They offer a 10-year/unlimited mileage factory warranty extension. Volvos depreciate more heavily than I expected so there’s potential for a great deal there.

I mean, unless you’re treating yourself or fulfilling some personal dream, in which case absolutely go for it, new cars are for suckers. A used cars lets you buy something you always wanted and its been around long enough that you can research it and know what to look for. It already has a ding or two so you don’t

Trying to use a CT to do actual truck things...

This sounds silly, but to a defroster button. Let me explain:

There were only 200 manuals made, so you’re probably not getting one of those for 36k. I’d be curious whether the rally version had the stock manual - it had the same engine after all - a hardened sporting version, or one of those automatics with manual downshift that some road rally cars use.

God I hope that car comes down in price and goes up in range. I can’t stomach the idea of a $70k Hyundai with a range that starts with a 2, but I want one so bad.

Before everyone piles into the comments to TRASH the very notion of simulating a manual, consider this:

Longevity. That’s my problem.

For me, I just don’t see the value proposition at this point in time. My current commute is <25 miles round trip, my commuter car gets up to 40 mpg highway, and it has very low maintenance costs. An EV wouldn’t actually be “cheaper to own” once I factored in the higher cost to buy, higher property taxes, higher

I couldn’t do that to a stranger asking for help. Those seats were so uncomfortable.

Nah, both eyes in the center is best, because makes it look like Cookie Monster

Why are you stupid?

“Jake’s CTE” would be a more appropriate screen name. You’ve clearly suffered repeated, severe head injuries that result in the drivel you post here.

It’s almost like you didnt even read the article

Oh no she prosecuted some people, well definitely time to vote for trump instead.

Anyone with half a brain know that the right likes to talk a big game about keeping automotive jobs in the US but what they do is undermine unions any chance they get. Luckily for them, it’s clear that a lot of people in this country don’t have half a brain.

The biggest standout to me is that this comes with 18" wheels?

I vote for the outside angled panels cause it looks walleyed.
