I believe Tavarish has already been there and done that.

We have one with manual cloth seats, and that ones fine, but our newer one has heated/ventilated leather seats, and they are HUGE. Eats up a lot of the interior space, especially because the rear seats are also heated. Combine that with thea sloping roof line, and it's a tight fit
Is this Matt Farah’s burner account?
Our 2 Mazda 6's are getting smaller as our son is getting bigger. We’re looking to add a Tahoe/Suburban to the fleet to carry family and cargo around.
I’ve been using the Griot’s Garage Ceramic glass cleaner. I had one of those small sample/travel bottles in my car for a few years and kept forgetting about it. Tried it recently and HOLY SHIT does it work well. No streaks or residue.
I think cleaning the windows a little more often is a worthwhile tradeoff to keep the interior cleaned and protected. Water just isn’t going to get the job done, especially for things like steering wheels, gear shifters, and HVAC buttons that get used constantly. You need some sort of cleaner to break down the oils…
Also, the ammonia doesn’t harm the glass, it breaks down window tint.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but aside from the Clown Shoe, BMW hasn’t had a really successful sports car offering. BMW’s niche is basically road-going touring cars. If people want a dedicated sports car, BMW is not the first thing they think of. That would be Porsche’s department.
I’m only 6', and for me it’s the PEDALS. Wearing a size 13 shoe, using the pedals requires some pretty slim shoes in order to not hit the throttle when braking. At 6'8", that’s gotta be at LEAST a size 15. Another issue I had with the ND Miata (haven’t driven an NA-NC) as well as my own Mazda 6 is that they have…
In LA at least, the trains are great for getting you from the surrounding area INTO LA. Once you get there, you’re still stuck walking, biking, or taking a bus/taxi/uber to your final destination. My coworkers in LA and Sacramento have been taking electric scooters onto the trains so they can zip around once they get…
This is what I do. I live in the Inland Empire in SoCal, so there are a lot of mountains that separate the different towns. That means there’s often only 1 freeway that goes through/near any particular city, and it makes for MASSIVE traffic bottlenecks. I’d rather spend an extra 5-10 minutes taking surface streets…
I’m familiar with Bisi’s work. He’s an absolute madman and a delightful person. I met him at Radwood back in 2018, and you can tell his love for engineering runs DEEP.
Nah, no real one. Just rumors, jokes, and renderings.
I appreciate how Bentley hasn’t succumbed to the Screenocalypse. My favorite thing about Bentley’s (especially since VW took them over) is how they’ve carved out a niche in the hyper luxury space as the DRIVER’S choice of luxobarges. Maybach’s and Rolls Royce’s are meant to be driven in, but Bentley’s are more focused…
I think the Continental is a fantastic looking sedan, and Lincoln was already cribbing some of Bentley’s swagger. Seeing it come full circle isn’t all that bad.
I don’t disagree with that. I really wish we had proper wagons in the US. We’d have the superior handling characteristics of a sedan, with the practicality of a real SUV. CUVs are really just lifted hatchbacks, which is fine for some people. I had a Mazda CX-5 when my Mazda 6 was getting some recall work done, and the…
True, crossovers are really just tall hatchbacks. Wagons have the benefit of extra length that hatchbacks don’t have.
I started out at the entry level with a Logitech G923 and Gran Turismo 7 a couple of months ago, and I’ve been having a TON of fun. Eventually I’m going to upgrade to a direct drive wheel, but I’m enjoying what I’ve got right now. I’ve tried Asetto Corsa, GT7, and Forza Motorsport. Asetto Corsa has a more realistic…
Do more maintenance and repairs on my own cars. I live in an apartment, but I have a garage now, so there’s no excuse. It’s gonna save me a lot of money in the long run, and as someone who thoroughly enjoys tinkering, it’s not going to feel like a massive chore. I’ve had the dealer service manual for my car for a few…
Eh, price aside, crossovers are just more practical overall than the equivalent sedan. You get more cargo space, easier ingress and egress, and the increased ride height brings softer suspension, more wheel travel, and larger tire sidewalls, which will help protect your spine from our crumbling infrastructure. Even…
