Correct. Those things are HILARIOUSLY small inside for how big they are on the outside. They have less usable space inside than the equivalent Fusion.

Don’t use wheel-cleaning products as they can damage the wheels.
I mean, even without the Porsche covering, that last chair is still $4200. Not as iconic as the Eames chair, but not a cheap piece of branded chintz either.
Yeah, I was gonna say the same thing. In the realm of designer furniture, $5k isn’t terrible. The classic Eames lounge chair is more expensive than this.
Nope. Completely missed that one. Carry on.
What ARE the common issues on the DB9? Being designed under Ford ownership, I know there’s a few parts-bin parts going on, but how difficult is it to service?
I think DB9's are approaching the BOTTOM of their depreciation curve.
If there was suddenly 3x as many ICE vehicles, current gas infrastructure couldn’t keep up either.
I got rear-ended in my Mazda 6 in Soul Red. The body shop had difficulties paint matching it, and kept it for an extra 2 weeks. I honestly think they messed up and had to start over. They ended up doing an excellent job though.
Bad example.
Overriding over a decade of muscle memory for the sites I visit is very difficult.
These types of articles are why I came to Jalopnik in the first place. We need more deep dives into obscure and rarely covered sections of the automotive world. Channel your inner Jason Torchinsky and bring back the weird stuff!
The gators in Louisiana are more leery of humans BECAUSE they are the dinner. They’ve learned not to mess with the Cajuns, or they’ll get ate.
True. I’m in the market for something that size. It’s between a Flex and a Tahoe/Suburban. I’m leaning towards the Chevy’s because of the ease of maintenance. I want something I can wrench on myself, and having had experience with transverse mounted V6's, I’d rather avoid that. They’re really not fun to work on.
Yeah, if this was a first product, we’d excuse all these problems that Cybertrucks are having. We get it. Making cars is hard. Rivian and Lucid get passes. But it’s been over a decade, 4 models, and several facelifts of the same platforms. Having that many problems on on a product that likely uses parts-bin components…
2 knocks against the Flex. One, it’s TERRIBLE on gas. Being what’s basically a refrigerator on wheels will do that. Two, the water pump runs off the timing chain instead of the serpentine belt, and that water pump is known to leak. It’s going to be an expensive service if it needs doing. But for $30k, you can find a…
