THIS!   I’ve been rolling on 45 series or lower tires for 20 years.  The ride sucks but it’s worth the grip.  Just gotta watch those Chicago potholes.  Knock on wood I’ve never lost a tire.  I just take it slow and careful.

I’m starting to see pre-LCI E90s getting modded by the local drift bros and stance bois now that the high mileage options are coming down in price.

I just ordered pads and rotors for my E90 today and I went with the coated rotors to avoid the corrosion problem on the rotor hats that my OEM rotors developed.

This is actually pretty common. Happens every winter. It’s neat to roll past the switches at night.
