That’s actually a thing. I used to do it all the time when downshifting in my G35C. For example, while coasting to a red light with no pedal inputs at all, I would gently push forward on the gear shift.

I love this truck. Love it. I had an ‘07 with the 6MT (and it is for sure a six speed, not a five as indicated above) and I miss it.
I set my handbrake all the time on my slushbox equipped E90. Part of it is habit (this was my first auto in 20 years), part of it is irrational fear of letting the weight of the vehicle rest against the parking pawl.
R33 started production in 1995? So not quite legal yet?
Hmm. Part of me thinks this is a terrible idea...but...if their CUVs can get the same fuel mileage then so be it.
Quadrifoglio or go home.
That’s a good bit if you can pull it off. I’ve managed to pull it off twice - both times for a high performance RWD car on summer tires in Chicago in December.
Well this article isn’t necessarily talking about depreciation, but rather purchase price and value.
At $2500 why would *not* track a 7 series? Doesn’t qualify for LeMons but I bet it would still be a hoot and and a holler at an HPDE

I miss my V35 G35C but this is CP all day. New clutch? Seriously? And the fenders are all jacked. No way.
visibility as an Asian man squinting
Mustang GT is personally on my short list. However I have 3 kids, so when I want to go some where with the fam I’d have to leave the wife at home or just never take my car.
Yup. Bugger means exactly what I thought it means and I plan on still using it. Not sure how it’s racist. Vulgar for sure, but racist? I also use “gearbox” instead of “transmission” which is another Great Britain thing.
lawlz. of course not. I miss the E39 M5. #getoffmylawn
Why would the even attempt this with an xDrive variant? Does it not come as an sDrive?
You’ve got it right there at the top of the article. A 1987 Dodge Caravan, white with the faux wood paneling.
I too hate the F30 loaners I get when I take my M-Sport E90 in for service, but they’re almost always a 320i (once I got a 328i). I haven’t driven the M-Sport 340i but I have to assume it’s a better drive than a base 320i.
So you had me pretty excited at “for the fraction of the price of a 340i”. Then I read “priced as tested, $50,100".
Sorry, I’m going to feed my kids first before I worry about passing the germs on 2nd hand to someone else’s elderly grandma. Blame the system, not me.
