dat fender gap tho

I ordered the very first car I bought new without AC (because young and stupid and broke) and drove it around Illinois for years. There were a couple of occasions where not having AC sucked, but only a couple. Probably not advisable in the south however. But in Illinois? Totally livable.

I think the word ‘drifting’ is being used in a very loose manner here. ‘power sliding with some burnout hoonage’ is a little more accurate.

You should actually trying flying in and out of it some time.

The first thing I'm doing when (if) I get my RS is to install an aftermarket grill/screen for that intercooler. It's boi-racer enough without that nonsense.

Well no wonder that MB scared the fucking shit out of him, the truck driver was driving on the wrong side of the road! What a bloody cunt.

Needs moar mesh. To hide the intercooler. And replace those wheels with some 19" stock BMW wheels.

Was probably still on his summer tires. A true jalop would know better.

I asked CarMax to remove their sticker from the back of my E90 and insisted it get done before I signed the paperwork (the sales guy rolled his eyes, but fuck him). That way if they jacked up the paint, I could have them repair it or just walk away from the deal.

I know there's a lot of vitriol around the j-body, and for good reason, but the first car I ever bought was a brand new red 1997 Cavalier coupe with the sport package and a 5MT. I traded in an '89 Z24 hand-me-down for $1200.

That trick doesn't work when you're getting ticketed in a municipal commuter lot over and over again. After the 3rd time they noticed in their system that my bracket had been "on order" for 9 months and they wouldn't throw the ticket out.

But will it baby?

No 6MT or DCT? #fail

But will it baby?

Other than the ridiculous torque steer, my brother's Mini Clubman JCW was by far the best WWD car I've ever driven - better than the Civic Si and GS-R I've driven

On the unfortunate occasions where I've had to have an Enterprise rental car for an extended period of time due to my car being in an accident, the first thing I did when I got home was to find my tin snips and cut the braided cable holding the two keys together.

When it gets excessively cold and my car has sat out in the commuter parking lot all day, I find myself having to double clutch from 1st to 2nd otherwise it simply won't go into gear.

You know, the more I look at it and read articles about it, the more I start to think that the major chubby Jalopnik has for this car has more to do with how hideously ugly previous WRXs were (GC8s notwithstanding) and less to do with how spectacular this one looks.
