I think people will be surprised with how many cars will baby. My wife drove our 2 oldest around in the back of our G35 coupe (6MT!) for years - all the way up to her 8th month of pregnancy with our 3rd. Sure, people gave funny looks at a very pregnant woman strapping a 4 year old and a 2 year old into the back of a

Give me 200-300hp from a lump up front with a 6 speed manualrouting power to the rear on a 3000 pound chassis, some grippy, comfy seats, and a decent radio and I'm set.

I'm not a fan of having to depend on wireless data access (either 4G or wi-fi) to stream my content while I'm on the go, hence my 64GB iPhone. I also like having my (nearly) uncompressed content on my HD at home for streaming. Netflix/Vudu/Comcast/Amazon HD streaming looks decent, but it's still not perfect.

I argue you need to be more specific - how many dead *hookers* can I fit in the trunk

Oh, and the occasionally funny fart joke. Twitter is good for that.

I plan on the exact opposite with my kids - I'll have them out in parking lots perfecting the art of driving a manual transmission before they ever step foot in a drivers ed class, that way they'll rules of the road in both - an auto in drivers ed class, and a manual with me outside of class.

Totally disagree. I think a manual transmission keeps people more focused on the act of driving and keeps them more in tune with the vehicle. One requirement I will have for my kids when then want a car is that it will have to have a manual transmission.

The thing that upsets me the most by the British spot isn't the dead teenage girls, it's the unresponsive (implied dead) infant with the (dead?) unresponsive parents and the big sister asking for her mommy and daddy.

It's pretty funny how far we've come. I fell in love with my wife the day I found out she owned a 1G Eclipse GSX w/ a 5MT
