It’s pro-Grantland, anti-Simmons, anti-Riley.
It’s pro-Grantland, anti-Simmons, anti-Riley.
I get this is the anti-Simmons site, gotta set up your tent somewhere, but why qualify it? Simmons two best accomplishments, 30 for 30 and Grantland, both reveal a guy who finds people who are talented and empowers them to do great work.
Yeah, Subway is terrible...except for literally every other available restaurant you’re likely to encounter while traveling.
We pretty much do the same thing as European soccer crowds minus the horrifying, overt racism.
No, the better analogy would be the following:
Pleasantly surprised to see a legend like DeJohnette getting some publicity here.
Sure, I just meant her role in it. She may be following an organization, but it’s not totally unusual for a megalomaniac to hijack a organization’s activities for their own ends. I haven’t read anything to indicate that’s what happened, but it certainly seems to be what Malkin and others are fired up about.
Edit: Misread your post originally, we are in agreement.
I know what happened. I bet she got all uppity and thought - like the makers of the tv show before they were brought to heel - that the one with superpowers should be doing the rescuing of the mostly useless pilot.
Right, the idea of getting to run a dungeon that you had to run 5x in a row to level - just sprinting through it in a silent group because it was comically easy - is not exactly the gaming experience I’m looking for...
I usually renew my WoW account for a month or two after a new expansion. The pre-85ish game was so totally fucked, it wasn’t even fun. I don’t know what they did, but my brother and I were two-manning 25 person raids underleveled. It was just dumb.
Oh sweet. Now I can go back and run the dungeons that I ran 2430958237452345 times in a row while leveling.
But the authority can pervert even good people into behaving like shits.
Hmm, I would have considered myself decently well versed in Anime - know the basics, the big shows. I have never heard of any of these.
Why don’t they ever do three team trades in the NFL?
Also, too much one on one. That sort of offense bogs down in the playoffs, often. That’s what happened to Miami against Dallas.
Yeah, it was a learning experience. I would handle that differently now (I hope), vs. when I was 25 (holy dear mother of shit, has that been 10 years....).
Well, it's all bullshit. It's a way to be an asshole while pretending to be a discerning customer.
I hear you, but the only time I was witness to something similar, I was so stunned I didn't really do anything.
I can see him condescendingly explaining to his date that he enters a restaurant planning to tip 15%, then makes mental notes each time staff makes an error, and he begins deducting....
