As the other poster said, there are more terms because we have better ways to understand the intricacies of human sexuality, not because of "self-important morons". They have an opportunity to relate to video game characters in a more personal way now that there are tools available to develop one's own game. I think it's great and I honestly don't see how anyone can have a problem with it. It's not like transexual, gay, and lesbian characters are going to replace male and female
