I'll be playing Rationalize the Purchase of a Gaming PC with my fiancee this weekend. Anyone have some tips? If I can't get one for under 500 there is no way I am wining this game.

The pressure from the family to have kids is a big deal. I can't decide if I want kids, but part of me thinks I should because I would feel guilty not letting my parents become grandparents. The rational part of me understands that is an insane reason to have a child, but there is a very significant part of me that

I think people are so revolted by the image because all the separate gross elements come together to convey that the poor kids life is irreparably fucked up. You look at it for a second and think "that kid is doomed."

That is a great idea. We are playing with the 2nd edition, so now I am super pumped.

Holy crap I didn't know there was a book!!

Is it always cheaper to develop for the Vita than the 3DS or is that just particular to this game?

You guys are planning a review right?

You're welcome. You and the other expert commentators are why I love gameological so much.

I think I am going to get really into it. You are right about it feeling unique to other entertainment. It felt really challenging and liberating. I am an anarchist gender-queer half-elf illusionist, and I can't wait to see I am going to do next.

Did The Last Unicorn make anyone else cry? So many aspects of that film exuded sadness. The art made everyone seem world weary and exhausted, the music was somber, the pacing was slow and the story was about how it is impossible to be perfectly happy. My 10 year old self had no defenses for all that.

Thanks. You know your stuff.

I agree with you all. The pilot seems to be the most useful character.

Hi Jason.

I like how the character building decisions seem far more weighty in AD&D than they do in video game RPGs, and I think it because those decisions potentially reverberate through months of gameplay.

This is what happened in our session. A few people were really focused on pursuing the quest, and a few others were only interested in creating anarchy. It was a lot of fun to see the interactions play out. For example, I got knocked unconscious because my half-elf illusionist kept flirting with a dwarf warrior who

I really like the sense of urgency in this game. I think one mechanic accomplishes this really well. For those who haven't played the game, players work together to collect items across the island and escape before the island crumbles into the ocean. The island is composed of tiles, and as you progress through the

I played AD&D for the first time last week. To my surprise, my friends stayed in character the entire session. I didn't realize that the game required so much improve acting. It was weird and awesome. Do most people play the game this way?

YES!!! I'm on the board! WOOHOO!!

Man I wish I had that hair.

Its Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask for me this weekend. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that most gameological commentators will love this game, because it supplies a near continuous stream of supportive positive feedback. Even if you get a puzzle wrong or have to use all the hints, the game
