These usually have beefed up suspension (compared to other E-series) to handle all the weight. This is a massively overlooked aspect of E-series overland builds. All your shit weight a LOT! And having the correct springs and shocks make a big difference in safety and handling of the heavy load.

The NP 300 is also the best selling pickup in México by a wide margin. It does basically the same job as the Frontier/Navara but is less expensive.  Looking at the South African Nissan site, the dual cab model is about 2/3 of the price of the base Navara (the single cab is about 1/2).  I can see why it still outsells…
