“Speed is the most important thing: Pretend that Dennis Hopper has put a bomb on your motorcycle. If you let up on the accelerator, it’ll blow up.”
The original Renault Twingo. See the resemblance?
The QX80 gets a lot of hatred towards its styling, but I like this thing. It’s a luxury land-yacht, so I think its ostentatious, overdesigned elements fit well here. I dig the swoopy lines, the various bulges and creases, and even the chrome accoutrements, though those ventiports really have no place there.
Panamera
Clown shoe!
Dome Zero. You’re saying “Hey that looks cool” right?
Many a night spent playing this with friends on the PS1/PS2 (supposedly my PS3 can play PS1 games, but I’ve never got it to work quite right). I wonder how many here would remember Chase H.Q.
Ferrari 355 Challenge. I can’t find a good picture, but the arcade machines had sweet gated manuals
Crazy taxi.
RC Pro-Am. Still a riot 28 years later. And that damn orange truck is still infuriating.
Out Run!
I still play NEED FOR SPEED - HOT PURSUIT 1 and 2 on PC
Not only are “suicide nobs” legal, almost every adaptive vehicle with hand controls has them. I rather like rolling like a boss in my wife’s Sienna.
Like many things, some of them don’t make sense, but most of them do.
I don’t know, mandating that people stop on reds at stoplights seems like it’s for safety reasons.
Then what are they for? Do you think it should be legal to drive 100 MPH down a residential street?
