@MaWeiTao: These house a circuit board about .75" by 2", which is jammed full of components and then heatshrinked. Add to that the die-cast pure aluminum heatsink and you got yourself a hefty price tag. Competition will bring the cost down some, and it'll come quickly because anyone can reverse engineer these; but…
