They were actually in a punk band together and are friends. I'm not sure if links get blocked here, so google "ferguson capaldi band".

I'm sick of these publishers and their goddamn on disk DLC. If it's only 1.4MB you know damn well all the assets are on the disk and they're just waiting to be activated.
Great job, Irrational. This will be the last time I buy one of your games.

Keeps your pants up. You can hang crap off of it (cell phone, knife, flashlight, batarang). And in a pinch, you can use it for a make-shift zip-line.

Deeba in China Mieville's "Un Lun Dun".

Dear god, did you actually use 'nopony' in a serious discussion?

I thought Froakie was the best of the 3. I'll probably go with him since he doesn't seem like he'll evolve into a big fat toad.

Now playing

Anyone else out there remember San Francisco Rush 2049, the arcade racer that actually had cars with deployable wings on them? Man, that feature made the jumps so dope. Every child`s dream car.

No, it's the opposite - car companies will pay movie-makers to prominently feature their cars. It's known as "product placement" and sometimes it's enough to entirely pay for a movie. How the reverse has become common practice in games, I do not know. It's perverse.

Ha, no one gives a shit.

They do, the reason why they didn't change that much is that they're extremely well adapted to their environment and they don't suffer a lot of evolutionary pressure to "make" them change so the differences over time are minimal (although they're there).

Here's an interesting tidbit. If you go to the wayback machine you will see the original site the domain was registered for was titled "Women's International Islamic University".

I also speak my Japanese in a slightly higher pitch than my English just because it's actually easier to enunciate that way...weird, I know.

From the beginning, it was a response to the sudden relief of the lower classes, remember during the pre-Meiji era, merchants were disrespected (lower than farmers even!), money was a tool, not an end, and people thought you did/said were more important than what was actually said and done. With democratic ideals

There was that time when they stripped a cell of all of its "junk" DNA and it died, which lead to the conclusion that such DNA was not quite "junk", but some regulator of cellular function and some important molecules' behavior. Now this shows that "junk" DNA is not essential for complex life, but probably some random

I dont know much on this subject but is Junk DNA able to brought back and used by our bodies depending on circumstance? Like for example a disease that we normally have no idea about appears but it has been around in the distant past and an immunity is coded into out junk DNA which can then become active in response
