Lost did have some plot holes. But they were kinda made visible as the years went on. Westworld has questions right from the very beginning that are likely to not be answerable.

The show is absolutely fraught with plot holes, that I suspect will never be satisfyingly explained. It was one thing when it was a 90 minute movie from decades ago. At this point, you just have to turn your brain off to most of the issues.
