Audi was spending what, $250 million to compete in WEC? That’s a massive amount of $$$$$ to spend on a racing series that brings in a fraction of F1's revenue. The car are amazing, but the short-term business case for fielding an LMP1 team just isn’t there IMHO. VW AG certainly can’t justify fielding Audi AND Porsche…

Same here! Still read C&D and enjoy it, but miss the balls-to-walls, zero-filter style of Yates, Bedard, Csere, etc. Funny as hell. At least the current staff has Phillips and Ezra Dyer.
