Christ, I like my female coworkers. They work great and are a boon to the team in both ideas and production. But all I see them as is great workers and good friends and wouldn’t lay a hand (or mouth) on them.

I don’t get why anyone would start such a letter circulating. Brokaw is 78 years old and mostly retired; if he never appeared on NBC, MSNBC, or CNBC again, would anyone notice? So, who besides him and his family would have any compelling interest to go out of their way to say what a nice guy he is?

What is it with the unnecessary hyphens one sees nowadays? It’s “two inches of grime,” not “two-inches.” The hyphen is only necessary when one is turning an existing string of nouns into a phrase. To wit:
