INCREDIBLY misleading table in that article. It is showing depth of discharge vs. discharge cycles. BUT, you need 10 cycles at 10% DoD to equal the usage time at 1 cycle of 100% DoD. The table looks like this (normalized to 100% DoD, assuming usage time is linearly related to DoD):
Install Personal Menu and then you can add the Tools menu to the Firefox button. As well as all the other Menu Bar categories (File, Edit, View, etc). Then you can get rid of the Menu Bar all together.

@cipheroid: Agreed! Every time I consider buying a used PC or laptop, I browse craigslist and ebay and am *amazed* at how much people are asking/getting for them. So I end up buying a new/faster computer for the same price or less.
