Anyone remember the Zord fighting game for SNES? It was called something like Mega Power Battles and it blew my fragile 9 year old brain to the wall. Ninja Zord vs Shogun Zord. Zed vs Ivan Ooze (who was broken as fuck since he could fly to the corner and spam projectiles). 90’s kid’s wet dream.

Personally I was a big fan of the Joker in Smash reveal at the game awards. I sat up at attention when the ad started, expecting probably a Switch port with new content, but then my friends and I actually yelled “WHAT?!” when they revealed the letter with the Smash logo.

So uh, when can those of us that aren’t into multiplayer games get a really cool single player story driven game about these characters? It feels like such a shame to build up such a world and characters and just have them randomly kill each other over and over for no reason.
