The way I’m taking this, the only cars that can be accepted as answers are available in both auto and manual, since if it’s not available you don’t know how they feel. Like people say “I wish this Mercedes came in a stick” but forget that when they were available they weren’t all that great.

Honestly? Anything made recently. Manuals used to perform better and have better fuel economy. That was the main reason gear heads went to them. Neither of those are true anymore. The remaining preference of manuals is just nostalgia.

Usually I’d say use a rubber for protection, but in this case... maybe you need protection from the rubber.
