Isn’t it funny how on this site everyone cheers when you say “all cops are bad” and “all white people are bad”, but when you say that Muslims are violent towards gay people (which let’s face, Muslim countries have a poor track record with thier treatments of gays... but nobody here wants to acknowledge that fact,…
So? You can say the same thing about cops. But just like cops, I think we can all agree they kill way too many people for unjustified reasons. I mean yes there might be some good ones, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be afraid if they come towards me with a weapon in hand.
The facts are just this last week Muslims in Saudi Arabia and Syria killed gay people for being gay.
With all due respect, that’s kind of bullshit. For starters, the Liberty was an accident. Comparing it to intentional murder is pretty fucked up. Secondly, it was Israel, not “Jews”. Regardless of whether or not you believe it was an accident, it was done by a Nation and not a religion.
Do you really think Charlie Hebdo is a far right publication? Do you think the same thing about South Park or Louie? Both of those shows are pretty offensive and don’t shy away from sterotypes or using words like nigger and faggot

Maybe it’s because I am gay. But I don’t really think we should be putting someone on trial for inciting violence against a group that wants…

Yeah, but that darn constitution.
Imagine a white male saying, ‘but my employees are all black men’ after saying a racial epithet.
Well, if you grow up with people telling you that you can say the racial slur “n***er” because you are black, I can see how you mind would go, “Since I am part of the LGBT community, I can use homophobic slurs too.”
Sure you can criticize whoever you want, but you have to realize that almost everyone on this planet is racist to an extent, study after study has shown that people have subconscious biases against people who are not like them.
Yes not saying racist things is quite easy not being racist has proven to be hard as fuck.
I’m increasingly starting to agree with this kind of thinking.
I never discuss it unless it’s people I know well, and only in private. This is not a subject about which people are rational, it is far too easy to give offence unintentionally, and in my experience people assume bad faith vastly more often than when discussing, say, religion, parenting, or other heavily laden…
