The Space Police sets did have that awesome transparent-green plastic which looked awesome, but the sets themselves were pretty pedestrian compared to Blacktron. I regret that I was born too late to truly appreciate those sets as I got into Lego as they were being phased out.
I always felt Blacktron/M-Tron sets were way cooler than Space Police.
I don't think it's a "problem" to have a lot of models, it becomes a problem when those phones don't have a coherent upgrade path. It also can ruin a manufacturer' reputation if they just diminish their brand with poor branding or if they make themselves obsolete too quickly. I think HTC is guilty of all of these..…
Right. Can we really say one way or the other if people are buying big screen phones for the big screen or because they're the only good phones on the Android platform. It's sort of a chicken-egg situation.
Did you do a factory reset before installing iOS4? My wife has gone back to a 3G after her iPhone was stolen and it seems to run pretty well after a complete wipe.
My problem isn't so many large screens, it's that there aren't any good phones with small screens. The only pretty good phone with an iPhone sized screen is the Xperia Ray. Could it be that they can't make a good phone with good specs at a small screen (and thus phone) size?
Do you get T-Mobile 3G on the GSM Nexus?
I thought it had to do with Shuffle All being on. If you were shuffling and then chose something you wanted to listen to this bug came on. Maybe it's not that. No big deal
Didn't read it on Engadget so I'm kind of curious what that was.
Exactly. They could have kept the same screen size and all.
Agreed. I think the Lumia 800 has the ideal screen size for WP7's resolution.
Hey Kotaku folk, I know this guy IRL. Can I get some drinks too?
The typical car stereo doesn't need more functions, just has to be easier to use. Every car stereo I've seen is just a clusterfuck of buttons and knobs. A touch screen would be great for making some of those functions easier (like say remembering a radio station) and would allow for multiple profiles for families with…
Yeah but I want to find a means of keeping the photos in just one place rather than have one account with the photos my wife took, one with the photos I took etc. I mean tagging is pretty good but I'd rather it all just be in one place.
Yeah, I was thinking about using Google+, but I don't know if it's available in Korean or not. My wife and I both have accounts, but other than tagging my son, I can't seem to find a way to just pool our photos easily. Maybe making a shared account will be the way to go.
Looking for a solution to my problem:
Ha! Thought it was!
The problem I think with the Droid brand is that you sort of forget who manufactures what. The only one that benefits is Motorola (and Verizon, obviously) since they have the "Droid". Still I can't help but think they messed up by releasing a half-assed Droid 3 and the Droid 4 too soon after.
They win this round.
