As far as the US goes: HTC messed up their branding in some cases, while not branding enough in others. When it came out, the EVO was the phone to get on Sprint, but they proceeded to dilute the brand with the Shift, 3D and Design, .Did they ever have a presence on Verizon, not sure the DROID branding is too big there

Doesn't everyone do it though? (Not that it makes it right.)

I find TouchWiz much worse looking, at least, than Sense. In TouchWiz (3.0 haven't seen 4.0) Samsung made the list of Apps an iPhone wannabe by giving the icons arbitrarily colored "buttons" around them. It just looks awful and derivative. I don't know how much of a resource hog it is compared to Sense, but I don't

I never had this sort of issue on my Sensation, the occasional app crash yes. Maybe get yours checked out? What browser are you using?

If by "run" you also mean have it installed as a VM, maybe. I don't think most Mac users have it as a BootCamp partition and definitely not as the default OS. As things move to the web, for most users OS doesn't matter. I've installed Windows VMs and/or Bootcamp partitions as a "just in case" measure on my own Macs

I second this question.

I use it in addition to DropBox. You can never have too much cloud storage, I think. For me it's DropBox for files I'll use regularly and Skydrive for files I'm hoarding (pictures, apps, stuff like that)

I just want to upgrade my parents' iMac hard drive but have been unable to because of recent prices due to the flooding in Thailand. Still waiting for the prices to go back to normal.

The Amaze has a slightly faster processor, slightly better camera, and I believe NFC. It's also uglier than the Sensation

Personally I am not a fan of the non-minifigs that those sets have. Nothing wrong with pink, I mean most girls like pink right?

What's with the iPhone owner hate? Otherwise a good comment.

I disagree, I always thought Vaios had just the right amount of gloss.

My brother had that Yepp. It held about an album and a half at 128kb/s and the build quality was absolute garbage.

I always kept telling myself "I'm going to install Boxee next week". Thankfully I no longer have interest in it now. Maybe I'll check out Plex next week.

Assuming it's just an ordinary iTunes gift card it can definitely be used for Apps.

To be honest, only the first Xperia mini and X10 sucked because of the Timescape UI over Android 1.6. Once the X10 got Gingerbread it was much better than it was before.

That is definitely a consideration as well.

I already did weeks ago because of the Giz article saying that people were getting 1st gen replacements :(

It's more of a resolution thing isn't? At least that's how I've though of it. Watching a DVD on your laptop screen that is 720p and higher isn't as crisp as a blu-ray would be on the same screen. (I don't know this about physical media personally but using my experience with DVD and Blu-Ray rips on laptop screens)

I'm more than a little disappointed in this. I use my first gen nano on a computer, G4 Cube on Tiger, that can't run the latest version of iTunes, and would have preferred an older model that could work with my computer.
