As a kid I loved saltines with peanut butter or butter. But you can put anything on a saltine. Cream cheese, cheese of any kind, peanut butter, butter, etc.

My state is listed as sweet potato casserole, but we never had that growing up. The closest is the time mom made sweet potatoes in orange cups. Those were tasty.

I have a vague memory of living off their taco salad while on spring break in the 80s.

Tiger Sauce is good on pizza - sweet and not too spicy. My main goto is Louisiana Hot Sauce.

And it’s easy to make. If you have a good butcher, you might just get the most tender lamb you’ve ever had.  Get a boned leg to make carving easy. I haven’t made the chiffon pie in a while, but I don’t remember it being difficult, and it’s so light and airy, you’ll always have room for dessert.  :)

I heartily recommend a leg of lamb instead of turkey. Rub garlic all over it, stick an electronic thermometer in the largest part, and roast until it hits the right temperature. Sides are mashed potatoes and peas. Pumpkin chiffon pie for dessert.
