XXL gave The Heist a 4/5 rating and was praised but several respected artists including Eminem. That album actually was respected by real hip hop artists, although hip hop fans trying to seem cool dissed him.

Also, the Chris Pratt debut episode last year was pretty awful as well.
It was no Woody Harrelson or Michael Keaton (the unquestioned highlights of last season) but it wasn't quite as bad as Dakota Johnson or a couple of other duds from last year.
Homecoming sketch? Really? That was by far the worst sketch of the night.
Also, Jost cluelessly smiling and giving the thumbs up after Pete Davidson said his grandpa approved of him was pure gold.
I actually thought this episode was better than most last season. There was nothing great, but nothing totally abysmal (ok, maybe that inexplicable 50s dance thing). I thought Kate McKinnon in the Katz Deli sketch was the highlight.
I really liked the Millenials. It was accurate in its depiction of Millenials as entitled, technology-addicted, unoriginal narcissists.
