I saw it on a date. I love it.

This assumes that SNW is set in the same timeline as TOS and not some variant with similar characteristics.
Captain Seven + Raffi, Jack, LaForge Sisters wouldn’t really be newbies. And Matalas has been pretty clear with his intentions about revisiting established parts of the Trek universe. The show he has in mind is even called Legacy.
Well perhaps if the United States valued its citizen’s physical and mental health over that of corporate wealth then we would live in a much more supportive and compassionate society. This is not the case. The “American dream” is the pursuit of wealth, power and fame. All other values are eclipsed by these primary…
Ha!
You left out Finnegan.
I, for one, can’t wait to see Chekov, Sulu, Rand, McCoy, Lt. Leslie, Commodore Mendez, Mr. Atoz, Kevin Riley and his velvet pipes, Gary Mitchell, Matt Decker, Apollo, Mira Romaine, D’Amato, Landru, Ben Finney, and of course everyone’s favorite, Gaetano next season.
Again, Chapel had a crush on Spock, but the show never implies that they’d had a full-blown romantic relationship just a few years earlier. TOS Chapel also doesn’t seem to know a whole lot about Vulcan culture or biology, based on “Amok Time.”
but bodysnatching a a rando gets you the hilarious scene of Steve trying on 80's fashion!!! That was certainly worth it, right?
Instead, the Escalade IQ will apparently be utilizing GM’s own proprietary software that’s built in collaboration with Google.
It still amazes me that despite the number of people who would have been involved with making WW2, apparently none of them pointed out that particular glaring issue. There were a lot of bad choices with that movie, but wow.
We only know for sure that it’s NOT the Kelvin timeline because George Kirk is still alive and setting impossible expectations for his two sons.
Imagine there’s no Wonder Woman 3
You can’t really hold the Writer’s Strike against the show, since they wrote and shot the whole thing a year ago. And given that the streaming era often consists of shows disappearing for years at a time, I can’t imagine the hype from this season won’t carry over to third season, even if it takes a while.
That’s definitely a worthwhile interpretation, although SNW Chapel is for all intents and purposes an entirely different character from TOS Chapel.
My reading of the show’s intention of the whole Spock/Chapel thing is “Oh, in TOS we just thought that Chapel has a huge crush on Spock that he could never ever reciprocate [*subliminal man voice* gay-coded] but, oho, they actually were an item years ago but he crushed his emotions in some Vulcan way we haven’t seen…
I suspected Batel would be a goner the moment she mentioned a priority one mission interrupting her vacation plans with Pike. It had a very, “After 20 years on the force, I’m retiring on Friday! Gonna fire up the boat and go down to Mexico to enjoy some quality time with my wife!” feel to it.
I think that they should definitely do more Star Trek Movies along with the TV shows.
I liked the Kelvin movies better than most, and I’ll be the first to say they shouldn’t keep going with all the Star Trek happening on P+.
