Dumb-possibly-obvious question from someone who doesn’t use Twitter and only sees them linked in news posts (like this one!): How do you tell it’s an Android tweet? Is there like a symbol in those linked Tweets above or a different font style or something?

It’ll never end, but Deadspin is sleeping on the couch for awhile.

I hope not! I’m hoping it’s less like the gender pay gap (incremental trickling change over several generations) and more like same-sex marriage (from extreme outlier to across-the-board in a few short years).

Hopefully not. I got eyes on that Tammy Duckworth.

They gotta pander to their base.

I’m a blue dot in Texas. And while my vote might not matter right now, it might very well matter in the future. Voting now can set the tone for what our future can become. This little drop could one day become a small pond, a river, a lake.

why is there a man in here

Alex Pareene’s self-important explanation for why he may or may not deem voting in a presidential election worthy of his time was the single worst thing I have read this election season.

I actually voted absentee because I knew I would be out of state, taking care of my dying father. September was a month of a lot of crying for me - for my dad and for this final crack in the glass ceiling. Tonight I’ll toast my father and our next President and be sobbing again, I’m sure.

But oh man, having the time and money to spend three hours at the gym everyday with a personal trainer?

Aww. I would have ended this post with
