Finally someone who is economically literate. Take your star.

Not to mention the upgrades in the electric grid in the state to charge all of them...
They won’t. The market will. Somebody below said the other apts will now charge for parking. That’s the same difference - rent is cheaper in the place without parking. They’re certainly passing on the savings from indoor-roller-coaster-less apartment construction, aren’t they? I think all you’re trying to say is that…
I see apartments starting at $700k near me that come with 0 to 1 parking spaces because the developer assumes residents will do exactly that and has sold the city on that premise.
I expect to pay for parking when I go downtown
Plus, where are they going to park? IN the apartments! Genius.
Agreed. Also, umm...where are they going to park? On the (public) street? If so, then taxpayers are subsidizing the parking. Somebody always pays.
Throughout the interior there are a whole lot of plastics, but instead of trying to hide them away, Hyundai decided to highlight them. In fact, a Hyundai designer said the automaker was trying to “celebrate” plastics inside the car. It mostly works.
Directions unclear, bought a Citroen DS
That’s why I predict that if this goes through, all long-haul trucks in CA will have out of state plates in 2035.
The local stuff, and maybe the short haul intercity stuff, too, is low-hanging fruit. You can buy electric concrete mixer trucks right now...from China.
Some owners that live in apartments, condos, etc. where they don’t have a say in whether their home has an EV charger NEED to have ample access to them as well. And let’s be honest, until the last person that remembers 5 minute gas stops dies, there will be an expectation of being able to charge wherever you are, under…
Daily driving? sure... longer range/road trip especially if going off of interstates? you’re gonna need all of that shit.
California is fucking crazy. in 12 years? The average lifespan of a semi truck is 15 years. Where do they come up with the crazy numbers? But hey at least the fentanyl is being imported by foot, that’s gotta be good for the environment.
“decided to build the sedan before the CUV”
I mean...
Eh, if you take i95 from mass to NH to Maine, the speed limit goes from 55 to 65 to 70. Everybody does 80 no matter
Are we just skipping over the political issues, which are probably harder to overcome than environmental? Whose country the minerals are located on the planet decides whether or not you can get at them and then what the price might be.
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE’RE ALL GUNNA DIE!!!!!
3 liter superchargers all around, then
Part of the reason Genesis has 3 vehicles there is because most Genesis dealers do concierge service. For service, someone will come and pick up your car and leave a loaner. When it’s ready you can go and get it our they will return it to you.
