She also just got married, which is usually the touch of death for actresses. It also looked like she was pregnant for a few months (yay!), but then it turned out she was having some bad health issues (boo).

And, picking up on a discussion up (or down, depending on how you are viewing) thread, she is actually older than her male co-star in that. Rani transcends female ageism.

I am still hoping that he and Madhuri will work together again at some point. Or Sridevi, which would be so awesome.

Amazing news just announced a couple days ago, Rohit Shetty's next is going to star Kajol AND SHAHRUKH!!!! And it's coming out this Christmas!!! And also Varun Dawan, but who cares about him, there's going to be a new SRKajol movie!

And yet your avatar is from Disco Fighter?

I'm actually researching non-Indian Bollywood fans for my Masters right now. If you want to find a bigger community, check out Beth Loves Bollywood, Filmigirl, or the BollyWHAT forums. Or planetsrk if you want to find people who are awesome but also kind of terrifyingly obsessed.

Really? With the facial hair? And also limited acting range (although I still haven't seen Lootera).

I'm hoping that he is just waiting for his mother to die and then will actually come out. I'm also hoping that he and Ayan Mukherjee are dating, because they would have supremely talented children.

I'm assuming you've already seen and not liked him in Yeh Jawaani (that's the only movie I've enjoyed with him)? Rocket Singh and Rockstar are the ones where he stretches himself the most, but if you didn't like Barfi!, you may not like them.

I have that poster! It's hidden behind the door in my bathroom, so the casual visitor to my apartment won't see it.

Ghulam. Really good remake of On the Waterfront with Aamir. It's where the Khandala song is from. Her part is really tiny, but she does a great job. And "first" is kind of fudging it, she filmed it simultaneously with Kuch Kuch and some others, but was definitely one of her early movies before people realized how

Also Billu/Billu Barber. The movie as a whole is a little uneven, but SRK is playing himself again and the times when SRK slams his own persona are brilliant.

By The Great Horn Spoon maybe? A teenage boy from Boston stows away and gets caught by his family's butler who ends up traveling with him to the gold fields so they can save the family fortune. It was one of my favorites when I was a kid.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Best work-out soundtrack ever.

Chennai Express! And possibly his next movie where he is supposed to have a double role as himself and as a fan of himself. I am hoping for a lot of meta humor.

They actually dubbed her voice in her first movie because they thought it was too "masculine". Crazy!

Except in Maine Pyar Kiya, where his body actually looks like a human persons. The one-handed push-up scene in that actually justifies the removal of the shirt.

Disco Fighter is 100% the best part of that movie. And the whole movie is pretty good! But Disco Fighter is Amazing.

Although, if you watch to the very very end, there is an implication that one, if not both, of the guys actually enjoyed the kiss.

It was a good "time-pass" movie, not something that the critics or fans really loved necessarily, but they also managed to sneak in some surprisingly progressive queer messages. For India, that is. For a fun, and less gay panic-y scene, check out the Desi Girl dance number. Two guys dancing together and not really
