Just out of curiosity, how many characters in the updated/new universe have the similar “left the Empire” origin? Not saying it’s good or bad. When your organization is shitty, I suppose we should expect it from more than one person. Just wondering if they’re going to the same well too many times.

I hope Cap and Stark never get real closure in the MCU. Sometimes in life, you don’t get that perfect goodbye. Let that dissonance sit. Maybe take a page from the “Death of Captain America” comic.

There’s a thought. We have hints of Adam Warlock showing up in GotG 3, and he does have a penchant for wandering around the Soul Stone.

If these idiots want a “friendly” set, they need to stop inviting smart comedians who work for the Daily Show. I can’t even wrap my head around how they expect anything different to happen when they keep inviting people who make a living off of calling out shitty politicians.

It’s interesting that George recognizes the symptoms of absurd characters in others. First step is admitting you have a problem, George.

Agreed. A Secret Invasion storyline needs some build. With only, what, two films between Avengers 3 & 4, that’s not enough time. Secret Invasion could be big enough where it’s the culmination of the next ten years of films.

Second confirmation of Avengers 4: Future Imperfect

A year ago (even a few months ago), I would agree. But with Fox selling their Marvel film rights back to Marvel Proper, I think we’ll see some of these even larger crossover events on screen once the X-Men are rebooted and reintroduced to the MCU.

You might be on to something with Avengers: Disassembled.

Let the past die. Kill it if you have to.

That is an image I’m happy to have burned into my brain.

It’s called a “big boy” pee. Get with the program.

Kevin Love:
Gosh it disturbs me to see you, LeBron
Looking so down in the dumps
Ev’ry guy here’d love to be you, LeBron
Even when taking your lumps
There’s no man in town as admired as you
You’re ev’ryone’s favorite guuuuy
Ev’ryone’s awed and inspired by you
And it’s not very hard to see whyYyYyYy...

“Avengers 4: Future Imperfect” confirmed

I could also see them trying to explain it basically as, Valkyrie stays with the remaining Asgardians as they escape Thanos, while Thor & Hulk buy them time. Which would make sense. She’d be one of the few true fighters left, and Thor would insist she stay with their people in case she needs to defend against a future

Yea, I didn’t understand that criticism either. I haven’t seen anything in the previews that gets me really hyped for this movie, but liberal use of these images is exactly what the Oasis would look like. And we know this because people already do it whenever they can. That’s why games like Marvel vs. Capcom are a

T’Challa did basically say they would start opening up Wakanda to the world, including information/technology. This can easily be explained as the first part of that global relationship by joining two of the worlds great inventors in Tony and Shuri. And a high profile share that shows the world Wakanda isn’t messing

And also, Thanos plans an interstellar bypass where Earth used to be, and it turns out this is also a Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy tie-in.

Probably why he’s going through this midlife crisis. Life is just full of regrets and missed opportunities.

They can always try Wakonda, South Dakota instead. On the surface, it isn’t a suburb of anything (not unlike the state of South Dakota, the town itself is in the middle of nowhere), and has a population less than 500. Seems like a good cover.
