90's.
90's.
Having 22 years until retirement, I don’t mind. I’m just going to buy all the way to the bottom.
Glad someone around here is thinkin’ straight.
Walk, if you are able. I spent a week there near the convention center for a conference and I hoofed it from Old Town to Mile End, McGill, Parc du Mont Royal, Downtown, etc. If it was within four or five miles of where I wanted to go, I walked there. I saw a lot of the city, which is loaded with cool little parks,…
My GP once told me that clinical research only supported taking two drugs for a cold, pseudoephedrine during the day, and diphenhydramine at night when you need to sleep, adding aspirin/ibuprofen or a nasal spray as needed for other symptoms. In his view, everything else is a waste of money. I tend to follow his…
“When you live in a place you hate and going to a movie or doing something fun helps you cope with life.”
This right here is a blueprint for the ER.
My wife has been freelancing this last year. She started an LLC and everything. She basically has not spent much from what she made; we’re living on my income and she just left (almost) everything she made in the bank. Once we get through this tax season we’ll have a better idea of what we can do with that money as it…
Weed FTW!
I also don’t have a microwave. Mine died and I decided I liked not having it so we never replaced it. The only “hard” part for me is having colleagues at the house at the end of the year for potlucks and stuff. I have to remind them that they can’t reheat anything in the Magic Box and need to bring it in a dish that…
“High exposure.” Yeah, you sound like you’re dead meat. Good luck!
Man, you’re instructor is an idiot. I would have made you email that shit.
Wow. Just out of curiosity, who is in your germ pool? K-12? Church people?
We normally use Turbotax because we’re usually just money in - money out. But my wife started an LLC in 2017, so we’re off to an actual human accountant in February.
So many stars for you. I fucking loved that story. And the intro that includes the creepy story she tells about her daughter, who inspired it.
I’m not a parent, so I’m only guessing here, but I’ll bet you guys would like reading it together. It’s very good, with nothing gratuitous in it, but is one of those books you want to talk about when you finish. Many of the themes (accepting and redeeming mistakes, finding and accepting oneself, attaining wisdom,…
Oh man, that book was so great. I was living in Oregon when I read it, which made it extra fun. But it’s a great, thought provoking read.
Just my own opinion, so here goes: Personally I’d say that the age range of Earthsea is pretty broad, engaging for thoughtful readers of all ages. I read it as a teenager, and recently re-read it as a 40-something and got a lot out of it each time.
Ambled down here to ask the same question. How are these ass clowns still in business?
More like, the rest of the state needs to wake the fuck up and vote, period. Bevin was elected with a historically low turnout. Turnout may or may not have made a difference, but this guy was elected with only 500k votes.
