For that you’d need a willing Congress and, well...

Yep. Trump got enough of the Latino vote in Florida to make a difference, and low turnout among black voters in Detroit made a big difference there, too. And let’s not forget that 18-25 yr old vote, who went for Clinton but with a low enough turnout not to make much of a difference.

Yep and yep.

I think you’re right about the low voter turnout in that demographic. Even though Hillary won their vote, the overall count in general was low (as per usual) and didn’t help her carry the day. She also garnered fewer black voters, and surprisingly under-performed among Latino voters. (I saw a graphic that showed Trump

How about two years of hard fucking work? I don’t think we can wait four years.

Blaming third party voters won’t help. Clinton underperformed among her own voters and lost Obama’s coalition to a man who earned fewer votes than Mitt did in 2012. She lost; it wasn’t taken from her by anyone.

From my perspective, the fault is hers alone as a candidate. The numbers this morning show him garnering fewer votes than Mittens in 2012, but Clinton radically underperformed in all areas and lost to a weak candidate in an Electoral College landslide.

Wow. And there’s nothing down ballot that interests her either?

Tomato soup with a PBJ.

I started wiping my seat and tray table, too, and I never get sick after a flight anymore. That shit works.

Oy! That first story. Fucking chills.

I’ll get back to you on that...

How many dates does one go on with Elon Musk before he takes you home to meet his mothership?

That is certainly one of his problems.

There are creeps sprinkled throughout the population, and they vary on the spectrum from guys like Harwood to more subtle harassers. One male professor from a different department once asked me about a “hot” student who was at one of my public talks; I rebuffed his question and now he doesn’t talk to me unless he has

*snort*

I’m actually just glad to see our student paper take on any issue, especially one so important. Most of the time it’s full of milquetoast wanking about sports or entirely safe-for-work editorials that very carefully offend no one.

As a UK faculty member, I can say that Capilouto has always been a secretive, cagey motherfucker, whether it’s about the budget process, horrible shit like this, or the corrupt Kentucky Medical Services Foundation. His only interest is avoiding bad publicity, and to that end he regards transparency as the enemy.
