ATGM's are nice tool when they work. However, the softkill systems and the corresponding ECM and ECCM software upgrades change the electronic environment way too frequently for my liking to depend on as my only anti-tank weapon.

All tanks have that broad design objective of engaging distant surface targets with direct fire and all tanks suck in close, built up areas, since they are supposed to engage in maneuver warfare. That is why they exist and what they excel at.

Cant the engine supports outward/inwards so they have some dihedral/anhedral and you have a stanced jet. Then all it needs is a VTEC logo painted on the fuselage and its good to go, brah.
