You guys made the Jeep equivalent of a Honda Trail bike. Granted , the jeep comes with the milk crate pre-attached.

Things are different here in rural America... People still ride in the back of pickups around here. Big safety no-no, but handy to pile a few friends in the back to head to the Friday night HS football game.

Cool. Thanks for the info!

,I'm sure they pulled the engine/tranny out of the Lexis together. Even with an adapter, pretty sure the original 5-sod wouldn't take the power.

This seems like a kinda dumb idea... EXCEPT Vegas is like 7 1/2 hours away. I would be there in a heartbeat!

Around her, dogs roam free in the bed or on the flatbed of pickups. They seem to be really happy because they can stick their heads around either side or stare at cars behind them.

It’s life. Luckily we were taken care of.

It's really nice to have some crash worthiness, especially now that we live out in the country. I'd had pre to get T-boned by an F-350 or farm truck in my Xa though. The wife prefers her Mazda5 now becuase it's a bit bigger and has side airbags.

Uninsured driver driving a friend’s car and tried to run. Then they tried to pay us off when their Native American check came in the next month (giving the undoubtably majority of Native Americans a bad name).

Those were factory hubcaps... Probably with a pretty penny. Just winter tires though. I would have been really torqued if it had the summer rims on it....

Lol that was a good one.

It was an ECHO.

Thanks but it was actually about a 60mph rear end impact after someone cut off my wife and slammed on the brakes to try and use an emergency U turn turnout causing her to plow into them... Then got thumped from behind.

There is one benefit... Extra crumple zones

It’s not the angle, it the open doors...

That car has 103K on it and the only issue was a purge canister that went out under warranty.

I always liked those due to the quirky 4WD and the 6-speed transmission option.

Growing up, dad had a Sypder 1600 then a 78 Spyder 1800 which we rode in a lot as he was part of an Italian car club. Due to those guys, I was I troduced to all manner of Fiats and Lancias and a few Alfas.

This one always gets me because it’s on a Tercel

You underestimate the abilities of 60s and 70s Amwrican manufacturers to create a ride that floats down the interstate.
