I’ve never been much impressed by the Yaris (outside of the blacked out one a neighbor had with a skull and cross bones hood ornament) as it is just too generic.

Do they really need to camouflage it? Are folks out there thinking it’s the next 5-series or something?

We that looks downright safe!

Ha! My truck only has 44,000 indicated on the 5 barrel odometer)

Between a manual transmission and completely shot 1-2 synchro, my 88 F150 is practically theft-proof.

It's a Ford version of a BRAT so we shall call it a FRAT! That's who will be sitting back there anyhow: frat pledges.

Sounds like my 88 F-150. Synchro a have seen better days and there is no paint on the hood and top (on my list of things to fix) but it’s solid mechanically.

I needed to help a friend move some stuff a while back , so I climbed in my beater 88 F150. It had been sitting in sub zero weather for a week or so and the steering wheel lock froze...

Maybe it’s just a bad translation to Wnglish. Here’s to hoping it actually reads “Authorities are Fine with Red Bull Driving F1 Car up Ski Slope”

Close but No.

Someone here in town DDs an 81/82 version that’s in pretty good shape. If I ever see it at the store, I’ll see if the interior looks as good as the exterior.

I’ve seen people crash hard on Trail 90/110s. Usually they aren’t wearing gear and have it in low range. You can easily wheelie and/or flip over backwards if you dump into gear.

Always wanted an Alfa, but I live in rural Idaho, so not ideal for sourcing Italian car parts.

Of all your crazy ideas, this is one of the best!

Thanks for the insight. dad moved on to RX-7s which were much more reliable... The only think the broke was an apex seal and that was just a matter of swapping the motor for a more powerful rebuild from a reputable rotary shop.

Dad had a couple Fiat 124 Spyders. I always wondered how much better the Alfa Spyder was?

Not sure it’s about the excitement. I have noticed that there is a lot of one upsmanship when you get to higher end products. Also, in the past 10-15 years, I have noticed a trend of collecting everything. It’s no different than Pokemon or any XBOX game where the entire ecosystem is abound collecting every and all

I feel a little bad for Elio. Let’s be honest, it was never going to get 94 MPG, and even if it did, it never will in the real world.

That’s a good poor. A lot of people don’t realize that hydroplanes have to be going fast enough that they are basically flying a few inches above the water (just the prop on the water).

Now playing

That tough. One has to experience top fuel races, but it’s not really history.
