Naw, he’s upgraded to a Kawasaki with some aftermarket accessories.

Honda Adventure Scooter you say?

I don’t have any AWad cars, but I do have a crazy fetish for reading owners manuals cover to cover (and procuring vehicles that have an original owners manual for some reason).

Exactly.

People are irrational about their belongings (neverMind the fact that a bank probably owns out).

Interesting finding. Realistically, it just means that the operators likely cannot be held responsible for 100% of the damages in the inevitable woeful death lawsuit.

Great point, though I wish there were better policing of aftermarket lights. Sure, “legal” lights are kinda clunky, but these bikes with like 2 led turn signals mounts flush to the rear gender are sometimes impossible to see.

That’s why you had the Chevy Big 10 trucks in the 70s. They had just enough GVWR to qualify for heavy duty exemptions.

It doesn’t even have to be a case car. My old Toyota Echo could easily load up the twist beams then quickly unload them of than Sears lost traction for any reason.

Smog pump? The 79 emissions package is: EGR , PCV, charcoal canister and at one time a Catyliyic Converter (the stickers day Sox but the dual exhausts are a little better flow than factory apparently).

Not much room for a supercharger. If you could, then you can have a professional rebuild of the TH350 to withstand the power. Not new enough for fancy OF transmissions even a lockup TC from the factory.

Overview a 400 to 406 and only burner dictates where the power ends up. I have seen builds with 400-500ft/lbs for $2500 or so running pump gas. Doubt I could do a swap for that (likely need to swap a motor, granny and full computer as a unit).

Not too many had the diesel, esp in a conversion van. This one has the factor 400 (6.6L) option that is also a littler are in a van (even the A team’s as was a 350). Usually the conversion vans were a 305 or 350.

And 8100 would be a right squeeze. They put a 454 in a few later vans and I imagine it’s a nightmare to work on

The L92 (vortex 6200) is a good option, but this can actually has a factory 400 (6.6L) that’s good for 300-310lb/ft from the factory in 1979. For the price of a swap, I could get and easy 400 ft/lb with 9.5:1 compression and vortex heads.

So you want to drive this... I have actually had a hitchhiker retract their thumb shake their head at me. Hopefully my dream version will have an LS swap and 6spd modern auto, perhaps a rebuild of the suspension components as well.

Naw, it’s not really a serious post. Id love to do with the “ the best dream garage is the one you can actually achieve” thing, but can’t day it with a straight face.

The go anywhere in relative comfort setup: one for long haul comfort and one for high MPG grocery runs and adventuring.

In usually order the kitty from a car stereo place on eBay. I try to stick to the Scoche and Metra kits (anymore there isbusuallynonly one choice). Trap the correct factory to brand C connector and it’s plug and play. Installed a Panasonic unit in the 5 in like 30 minutes. Considering it replaced the entire face
