Given the marketing of Supergirl as a role model to young girls, I knew they wouldn't go full Smallville, but it was still amusing that Supergirl's costume has a lower neckline and a shorter skirt than any outfit in "uninhibited" Kara's wardrobe.

Oh Smallville, I loved your desperate attempts to mix in red kryptonite (or witchcraft or hypnosis or ancient relics) so we could get "bad boy" Clark at least once a season while blindly insisting he's still a boy scout.
For me, Stamos and Hall have such crackling chemistry (as do Stamos and Brewster) that I don't care what the plot drags them through. It's just fun to watch them together.
At first, I didn't buy Rebecca going to Hawaii alone. But upon reflection, it sums up the character so well — leaning into the dramatic/almost romantic side of her depression with big gestures (while also being terrible with money).
I could watch a whole season of Dean's study group/fan club… or maybe I'm just missing Community. That thread has a lot of potential.
King Shark moves to Riverdale?!
I don't keep up with the show regularly, but this is a legitimate Very Special Episode. Must watch.
While I enjoyed this episode, I kept waiting for Jane's Catholicism to play a role. Religion on this show seems to come and go, depending on the episode. (But then, life's like that sometimes.) I suspect the writers wanted a more universal message of uncertainty and commitment, but it felt like part of her character…
Tad Hamilton did have a few disarming scenes, but I must have slept through the rap battle. West Virginia, man… you never know what to expect.
Kalinda opens a stylish jacket and boots boutique in Winnipeg.
Come on, Teti. Manning is the indomitable soul of that defense. Statistically, no QB has ever completed a pass to a receiver Peyton's guarding.
Maybe he was talking about Brian Stokes Mitchell… which would clearly mean ALL the respect.
Agreed. I love the way this show shrugs off sitcom "drama." The characters will do zany things (that cut good promos), but then their friends handle it with gentleness and sincere discussion.
Is it too much to ask for teams to have played a roughly equal number of games before the All-Star break? Sure, the snow didn't help, but some teams have 6 games in hand right now. Might as well throw out the standings until late March.
Moffat had his share of misfires, but I could never hate the man who invented Amelia Pond and The Lone Centurion. Tip of the hat, sir.
Ah, that is better. Still, I can't imagine that being the first line a sister says in that moment.
I can accept Winn spilling out feelings he knows aren't reciprocated (although the stolen kiss is one of those only-on-TV-or-while-drunk tropes). He's been through a lot, and we all have our selfish moments.
Wry observations, Teti. Glad to have you back.
Ha ha, only if John Waters cameos as their luscious wig salesman.
Can we give James Monroe Iglehart the role of Maybelle? I think he'd crush it.
