I had a 1997 Camry with a 5 speed manual and 3.0 v6. Crappy mileage, crappy in the snow, and the engine was a sludge magnet.  I’ve never purchased a Toyota since then, and I don’t think I ever will.

I’ve actually driven one of these overseas. It is a piece of crap. Slow doesn’t even begin to describe it. Load the bed up and you’ll have a 0-60 time that is beyond abysmal. And these things are not reliable. Sure the diesel engine is fine, but everything else will have lots of problems. Ours was in the shop…
