Can we just...not do this every damn time a Marvel movie comes out? No, Marvel movies are not high art. Yes, it’s okay to like them. No, just because they’re popular doesn’t mean they suck. Yes, it’s a shame that all studios are interested in making these days is superhero movies. No, Spider-Man shouldn’t win an Oscar

While there were only a couple of references to the larger MCU (had to stop myself from saying Marvel Cinematic Universe universe), there is an Age of Ultron level of seeds planted within this season. There’s the name Duchamp from Marc’s flip phone, who is supposedly comics Marc’s Bucky, who flies a helicopter and

At this point, complaining about a big budget battle in an MCU season finale or last 25 minutes of an MCU movie is like complaining someone put chocolate chips in your chocolate chip cookies.

It makes you sound like a fucking idiot.

In a way, the young woman excited to specifically see an Egyptian hero is an acknowledgement we are in the MCU world full of other heroes.

I guess you missed the two separate Rama-Tut (Kang the Conquerer) references then?

I wonder how the show landed for people who have dealt with DID. It struck me that the “you were my superpower all along” line could come off either really empowering or really patronizing to someone who actually struggles with DID or the loved one of someone who does.

Can I bring the mood down a sec? As someone who was abused as a child by his mother, (I know, I know. I’m OK now) this shit was downright cathartic. Tears and everything.

Can we also mention how good Khonshu looks in a business suit? That was great.

Yeah, I hope that May Calamawy gets more gigs after this. Between this and Ramy, she’s always been great.

This is exactly how I felt about it. In general it was fine, but the gravitas of the cast (especially Isaac and Hawke) really carried it.

Moon Knight was a quirky show. Imperfect. Often reminded me of ‘90s and early ‘00s adaptations.

I’ve mentioned this in the comments of the previous episodes, but man I cannot praise enough the work done by Isaac and Hawke in this show. Like those were without a doubt the strongest acting performances in a MCU show so far and are pretty high there for MCU in general. I can see the WandaVision argument, but I feel

A+ on costuming.

Moon Knight is different enough from the rest of the MCU that it feels fresh and is worth checking out. It took a few weeks for me to get around to catching it and I was glad when I did.

Personally, I enjoyed The Eternals, but I recognize I’m in the minority. I dig Chloé Zhao’s sensibilities and was a fan of Chariot of

Moon Knight has been very good so far. Feels completely different than any other MCU show so far.

Personally, I can’t wait until scrotes like you realize they don’t have to comment on every thread of something they don’t like.

Sounds pretty gay to me.

You will get very, very angry bees who will come for you and everyone you love.
