One part NBC didn’t skimp on? The introduction of the U.S. delegation, which in real life took 62 seconds but which appeared on American television to take more than seven minutes. (They looped parts, which is why you heard the same portion of Psy’s “Gangnam Style” over and over again.)

Elway wasn’t in Denver at the same time as McDaniels though

McDaniels. That wasn’t the question though. Someone said “they did just fine from 09-11" and your response was to dismiss that because they didn’t win a Super Bowl. I pointed out that their offense in that period was as high scoring as it is now, and that O’Brien was only in charge for 3 years, and if you want to

The 2009 team was “essentially the same team that was 18-1"? Okay then. And Moss was gone 4 games into 2010. But you’re right McDaniels was way better, as long as we’re not counting points.

The same amount as they won with McDaniels in his first 3-year stint as OC.

What an original idea for a column. Nice work!

Also because they’re going to lose

Look at all that juice, man. I’m always prepared to go all night.

It crossed my mind whether I should edit that out, but I’m not ashamed.

She came up on my Bumble...I don’t have anything else to add. We didn’t match.

So they’ve now acknowledged that it’s too racist to be on uniforms, but are going to wear it for an entire year in the mean time? What?

No way Trump would come up with a dougle-digit letter word

Unfortunately it’s more like the most Contemporary American Shit

Takes a lot of balls to post a quantifiable complaint like this that can be (and was) immediately disproven. Kudos.

Say what you want about bad calls, but seriously with the ref “celebrating”? You could post the whole video where clearly he’s laughing while telling players to calm down and not start a fight.

How is that a sign of “getting worse”? What is different about that than the last few years?

At the risk of allowing myself to eventually be doxxed somehow, I’m an attorney at the PTO, so I’m familiar with the filings. If you had made this post originally, I wouldn’t have replied the way I did. Perhaps I’m a little oversensitive to broad generalizations about TM law that get put out to the public because it

This is...not correct. I hope you practice something other than trademark law.

Not sure why you’re being obtuse about it. It’s pretty clear what she said. And her “backing it up” and immediately rephrasing it as “stupid person” is even worse because it doubles down on the false association between those terms.

So did the guy who sent in the Home Depot story post that somewhere else on here this week? I swear I read/heard an almost identical story within the last few days and I can’t think of how that would be possible unless he posted it as a comment on a different story...anyone else know what I’m talking about?
